Gąski mekką spokojnego, wakacyjnego wypoczynku nad morzem
Gąski to wieś letniskowa w województwie zachodniopomorskim. Wieś leży na Wybrzeżu Słowińskim, nad Morzem Bałtyckim. Gąski znajdują się w obszarze chronionego krajobrazu, w Koszalińskim Pasie Nadmorskim.
W Gąskach zostało wyznaczone kąpielisko o nazwie "Gąski 210" o długości 100 metrów przy ulicy Latarników. Najwięcej odwiedzających Gąski można odnotować podczas sezonu letniego. Znajdują się tutaj różnorodne obiekty noclegowe (np. domki letniskowe, apartamenty, pola namiotowe, pensjonaty, pokoje gościnne, ośrodki wypoczynkowe czy domy gościnne) oraz gastronomiczne (np. restauracje, bary, kawiarnie oraz budki z lodami i goframi) czynne głównie w sezonie wakacyjnym.
Na terenie wsi znajdują się dwa zabytki, są to park pałacowy z drugiej połowy XIX wieku oraz zespół latarni morskiej, czyli latarnia, dom latarników, mur zespołu latarni, stodoła i budynek inwentarski z lat 1876-1877.
Latarnia morska w Gąskach znajduje się w odległości 22 km na zachód od latarni morskiej w Kołobrzegu oraz 40 km na wschód od Darłowa. Latarnia jest uznawana za miejsce graniczne obszaru Zatoki Pomorskiej. Latarnię morską zbudowano na podstawie materiałów dowożonych przez statki. Materiały były wyładowywane na specjalnie stworzonym do tego pomoście. Latarnia została umieszczona na znaczku pocztowym o numerze katalogowym 4094, który został wydany przez Pocztę Polską w 2006 roku. Na taras widokowy na górze latarni prowadzą schody które mają 190 stopni.
Na jednej z działek w Gąskach można spotkać tulipanowca amerykańskiego, czyli drzewo które w 2008 roku zostało uznane pomnikiem przyrody.
W pobliżu latarni morskiej skrzyżowane są szklaki turystyczne: niebieski szlak rowerowy pałacowy, EV10 Szlak Wokół Bałtyku i czerwony Szlak Nadmorski.
Ciekawostką jest fakt, iż na terenie m.in. Gąsek miała zostać wybudowana elektrownia jądrowa. Do budowy elektrowni nie doszło, na wskutek referendum którego mieszkańcy wsi zdecydowali, iż nie zgadzają się na jej budowę.
