Lawendowe Muzeum Żywe im. Jacka Olędzkiego

Lawendowe Muzeum Żywe im. Jacka Olędzkiego, otwarte w 2014 roku w Nowym Kawkowie na Warmii, promuje wiedzę na temat uprawy lawendy oraz etnograficznych tradycji regionu. Początkowo, w 2001 roku, powstało tu gospodarstwo agroturystyczne, a muzeum zostało zorganizowane przez Fundację Lawendowe Muzeum Żywe, założoną przez Joannę Posoch. Wsparcie finansowe zebrane w ramach projektu Polak Potrafi umożliwiło realizację projektu, a fundacja została wpisana do Krajowego Rejestru Sądowego w 2014 roku. Muzeum zdobyło I miejsce w konkursie „Godni naśladowania” w 2015 roku.

Oprócz zwiedzania lawendowych pól, muzeum organizuje warsztaty tworzenia naturalnych kremów, olejków eterycznych oraz wód aromatycznych. Na terenie muzeum znajduje się sklep, w którym można kupić lawendowe produkty, rękodzieło lokalnych twórców, sadzonki oraz przetwory.
